Jiuxiang Karst Cave

Yiliang Jiuxiang Scenic Area is located in a mountainous area, the climate is warm and cool, the peaks in the area are continuous, the peak valley bottom is relatively high about 200 meters, the surface altitude is between 1750 and 1900 meters, and the terrain is not undulating. It shows that the terrain in the cave distribution area is rising, and the river is cut and immersed in the young river landscape. The forest in Jiuxiang is dense, with a coverage rate of 62.3%, and precious and plant resources are abundant.

Jiuxiang cave is located in Jiuxiang Yi and Hui townships, Yiliang County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. Its cave size and number are the largest and most famous in China. It is known as the "Cave Museum" and the cave landscape is magnificent and strange.

One of the best cave systems visited in terms of sheer size. The small boat ride and walkways in to the cave system are excellent and the waterfalls are fierce. It appears man-made in places, particularly the fairytale cave and the glass slide could be missed. Nonetheless it is worth a visit, only 30RMB a ticket and the fruit is delicious!

Jiuxiang cave is large in scale, and the stalactites inside are of different shapes, which are particularly beautiful against the light.
