We did the Deluxe Haute Route. Our guides were Tim and Steve. Absolutely fantastic trip. Very well organized from beginning to end. Tim and Steve had to adjust our itinerary due to weather conditions that created unsafe conditions for hiking over the high passes on two days. Heavy snow and blizzard conditions are not typical in August, even in the Swiss Alps. They made a quick pivot though and made arrangements for the group to have snowshoes in Zermatt. Snowshoeing, in August, in view of the Matterhorn..........that's an experience not many have ever had!!!
