This temple is right in amongst the residential area at the far end of Zushi. Occupying an area at the bottom of a steep mountainside the temple itself is surrounded by an impressive graveyard up that...
It is a temple in Zushi and is said to be one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Shonan. However, it was not positioned as a tourist spot, and it was quiet during the consecutive holidays with few worshipers.
Do you know "Sotaiji"? It is a temple of the Shingon sect located at the northern foot of Sakurayama, about a 6-minute walk from the south exit of Shinzushi Station on the Keihin Express. This enshrines Daikokuten, one of the pillars of the Shonan Seven Lucky Gods Tour on Zushihayama. It is a god of good fortune that gives harvest of five grains, good fortune and treasure. In a quiet residential area, there were also statues of Fudo Myoo and Tento demon. Please visit us.
I went to this temple when I visited Shonan Seven Lucky Gods. We are festivaling Daikoku-sama, but unlike other temples, it is located in the building, so it seems that many people go without seeing Daikoku-sama even if they visit the Seven Lucky Gods.
It is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located in Zushi City. It has a long history and has been built since the Kamakura period, and is an indispensable temple as one of the seven lucky gods of Shonan.
