We booked the L&#39;Origenel for valentine&#39;s evening whilst we were in Bordeaux. The meal we had was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Lovely small intimate restaurant. The service was top notch and would recommend anyone visiting Bordeaux to give it a try.

Delightful experience!  Cozy and unique dining room. Excellent service and attention to detail!  Very fun menu, however, disappointed that there was no beef included in any of the courses

Ambiance cosy, and beautiful base, so deceptive of quality. Sugar cut to water, all, and badly balance food in salted bases. Too much toast, not enough sauce/accompanying compared to garnishing.

The server was very knowledgeable and recommended great wines. The atmosphere was relaxed. Charcuterie was top-notch.

Simply put... the greatest dining experience of our lives! We are a couple in our 60&#39;s, have dined in the finest restaurants on five continents, and the four and a half hours we were honored to share with the thoughtful and experienced team here was nothing short of thrilling. The ambience, the cuisine, and above all the knowledgable and passionate staff made this an evening we will never forget. We enjoyed every item from the wonderful amuse bouche, the delicate breads, and both the Origins and Heritage menus. Then there was the Signature lobster preparation, so dramatically infused via the Christofle press that was wheeled to our table... the resulting dish as delicate and heavenly as one could possibly imagine! Then followed incredible desserts and of course the cheeses from a magnificent trolley also wheeled to our table! And all of the above paired perfectly by the clearly experienced hand of the sommelier, who introduced us to a number of regional offerings that worked so well with each course. In the end, though, what made this evening a 3 Michelin Star (at least!) for us was the team. These young men and women bring such passion and excitement to their positions that it is infectious. They described in fine detail the preparation of each small ingredient on each offering, how these interplayed, and how best to consume them to obtain the best experience of the flavors. When we inquired about how they arrived at this most lofty of Michelin rated restaurants, they were happy to share their life stories and how excited they are to be a part of a place that every day gives such joy to people... and as I looked around Le Pressoir D&#39;Argent I noticed similar smiling diners and staff, interacting over these wonderful offerings, which is in the end what a truly outstanding culinary experience should be about! Bravo!!

The soup and fish course were one of the best I&rsquo;ve ever tasted. Very impressive.

What an absolute gem of a restaurant! With only a waiter and a chef to serve about 8 tables, L&rsquo;Originel delivered one of the best meals we&rsquo;ve had in ages. If you&rsquo;re considering making a reservation, do it! From the amuse bouche to dessert, the flavors were sublime and the food exquisite. The menu is small, but filled with divine local offerings. We could not have been happier with our meals and will definitely return.

Good and innovative food .The day lunch menu at 24 euro is a good deal. Negative point for me is the service: a bit too slow and I have seen them being very unpleasant to other clients
