Trinity Lane is a historic street in the heart of Cambridge, leading to Trinity Street. Trinity College is just north of Trinity Lane, and to the south is Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University. About the opening of Hawking's movie "The Theory of Everything", Hawking and his friends rode their bicycles through the streets of Cambridge in high spirits. It is said that the scene was filmed here.
