🇹🇭 : Pattani 🕌🌊🌿 A southern border province with a unique blend of Malay Muslim, Chinese, and Thai cultures, along with a history as an ancient port city and approximately 170 kilometers of coastline on the Gulf of Thailand. It's ideal for those interested in architecture, religion, community life, and local cuisine, rather than just casual sightseeing. 📍 5 Must-Visit Places 1. Pattani Central Mosque 🕌✨ One of the city's important landmarks, built in 1954 and taking approximately 9 years to complete. It features a distinctive dome and minaret in Islamic architecture. Currently a actively used religious site, visitors should dress respectfully and avoid disturbing religious services. 2. Krue Se Mosque 🧱🕌 An ancient mosque over 200 years old, located on the Pattani–Narathiwat road. It has been registered as a historical site since 1935. The brick building and its original architectural style make it an important landmark for those who want to understand more about Pattani's history. 3. Lim Ko Niao Shrine – Pattani Old Town 🏮🏘️ Leng Chu Kiang Shrine is located on Anaroo Road in the old town area. It is an important center of faith for Thai people of Chinese descent. It's easy to walk around and see the old buildings, restaurants, and the community atmosphere around the city. It's another corner that clearly reflects the cultural diversity of Pattani. 4. Yahring Mangrove Forest Nature Study Center 🌿🦀 A natural area along the Yamu Canal in the Yahring Mangrove National Forest Reserve, covering about 500 rai, is suitable for studying the ecosystem, birdwatching, mangrove animals, and the way of life of the community along the canal. It's a good rest stop from the city and religious sites. 5. Sai Buri Old Town 🏘️🌊 A former port city and trading area where Muslim and Hokkien Chinese communities settled, you can still see traces of old buildings and diverse cultures.
