Since 1726, Chateau de Pommard has been closely linked to the history of Burgundy. After more than three centuries of wind and rain, Chateau de Pommard has long been internationally renowned for its fine wines, and has attracted an endless stream of visitors, witnessing the development and prosperity of the Burgundy wine industry. The underground cellar of Chateau de Pommard is very spectacular. In addition to oak barrels, neatly stacked wine bottles are placed in various alleys, divided and stacked by year. Some bottles are covered with mold and dust. The wine labels show that many wines have been around for dozens or even hundreds of years. Good wine also needs good bottles. The bottle of Château Pommard is very unique. It was hand-blown in the 18th century and disappeared with the passage of history. Later, the owner of the winery, Jean Louis Laplanche and his wife reshaped the prototype mold in 1969 and it is still in use today.”
