118***20The Wat Mahata Temple, in the center of the ancient city of Sukhothai, is the largest temple and site in Sukhothai. The temple consists of 12 Buddhist temples, which offer a large number of statues. The pillars are tall and tall, and the statues are still sitting, though somewhat old. The famous tree hugs the Buddha head here, can also enjoy the sunrise and sunset beautiful scenery.
118***20The most mysterious temple in Sukhothai, Wat Si Chum, which was built in the 13th century in the park, is the only eye-opening Buddha statue in Sukhothai. It is a rare tourist attraction and is the best place to take pictures. The main building is the temple behind the site of the temple, the front of the temple has a narrow seam, through a narrow seam can be seen in the huge sitting Buddha. Sitting Buddha fingers are long, carving very meticulous, is now covered by the pious Buddhist gold leaf, and the gray theme part contrasts brightly, very characteristic.
笑看人生218The Ramkhamhaeng Monument is a very famous monument and statue in Sukhothai. I always feel that it is far from the domestic museums. I have heard many times from my friends and I am very impressed. But when I actually came here, I still give A surprise for me.
pxy0705The Sishawai Temple in Sukhothai is also a very old temple, but part of this temple was built later, so it has a modern Thai temple style. However, although the pagoda here endorses this life, it actually has a long history. , It can be regarded as a new life of historic sites.
118***20Wat Sa Si (Shaxi Temple) was built on a small island in the middle of the lake. The Buddha has a full figure, smooth and soft lines. The right hand is drooping, the fingertips are slightly tilted, and the left hand is raised to make a gesture of saying imprints. There are long reflections of coconut trees, large green lawns, and sitting Buddha sitting in the hall with only stone pillars left, but the most touching is the bronze statue of walking Buddha. The bronze statue of Buddha has changed from the solemnity of the past, and it has become colorful, exquisite and vivid.
We checked in late at night and stayed till 5pm the next day. We rented the hotel bicycles to Sukhothai Historical Park which is just 10 mins ride away. Breakfast was unremarkable but otherwise the hotel was gorgeous, very tranquil and relaxing ambiance, the beds were comfortable, the staff were polite, a couple of rabbits and a hen roamed the grounds and provided photo opportunities. The owners seem to have invested in quality electronics in the rooms. All in all, a very nice stay. I would stay here again if we came back to Sukhothai.
Just so you know, Le Charme Sukhothai Historical Park Resort is located in Thailand’s first capital and is surrounded by temple ruins dating back to the 13th century and the is Sukhothai it is also bees recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Much further south than all the places mentioned above but technically in the northern part of Thailand, Sukhothai could make a good stop on the way up or down from Chiang Mai. Sukhothai Historical Park is one of the best and largest historic sites in the whole of Thailand and if you’re serious about your exploration, absolutely not to be missed. Sukhothai deserves a day or two of your time, sunrises and sunsets are particularly spectacular.
The Sukhothai Historical Park ruins are one of Thailand’s most impressive World Heritage sites. LoyKatong Festival 2019 in SuKhothai
Sukhothai - Thailand: If visiting Sukhothai Historical Park before sunset, you will be surprised with this stunning view. This is one of the ancient sites in Thailand with 6 hours drive from Bangkok or we can just take a flight there. This is one of my memorable trips!
is located in the middle of the central district of Sukhothai Historical Park. It is the largest temple and site in the historical park and the most representative temple complex in the historical park. Wat Mahathat is the epitome of the entire historical park. The complete palace, sitting Buddha, standing Buddha, relief sculpture, etc., vividly show the prosperity and prosperity of the Sukhothai Dynasty. The high and low ruins of the ruins, the large and small temple pillars, and the tall and old trees that are intertwined, tell the history of ruthlessness and vicissitudes.
Cycling Sukhothai Historical Park (2 days)
Sukhothai dynasty rose from 1238, and fell to 1420. The ancient city of
Sukhothai is rectangular, surrounded by 3 layers of earthen walls, moats and city walls. There are four large pools in the city. There are 193 Buddhist monuments inside and outside the city, including a royal palace, 35 Buddhist temples and a large number of ancient towers, Buddha statues, stone monuments, ponds, dykes and ancient porcelain kiln.
Now the historical park is divided into the southeast and northwest no-large area. The ticket for each district is 100 pigs for 350 pigs. Xichun Temple needs to buy tickets separately, but with the ticket of Xichun Temple, I smoothly entered the northern district.
Riding in the historical park is a very pleasant thing, if you just walk, you can't walk.
Long Lian Temple
Long Lian Temple established by Chinese immigrants in Bangkok is a must-see for visiting Chinatown in Bangkok. The whole temple is not big, but the incense is very strong. As the first Buddhist temple established by Chinese immigrants in Bangkok, the style of Long Lian Temple is quite Chinese, and it is a relatively common form of Buddhist temple. There is also a Long Lian Middle School in the temple. I don't know what it feels like to study here. When it comes to New Year's Day, a variety of New Year's blessings attract many locals and tourists.
