_TS***p7:“Really nice and beautiful. Decorate with many sanrio characters which made my kids very excited always. The parade show in front of the huge tree was nice but need to approach the tree a bit earlier for better view (sit on the floor). The less attractive area was that many attractions need to extra pay apart from entry fee. However, we still had a great moment there.”
seamm:“I was on a business trip to Tokyo and decided to go hiking.
I chose Mount Takao because it is the closest to Tokyo. It takes 1.5 hours by subway from Shinagawa to Mount Takao.
There are many hiking routes in Mount Takao. I only had half a day free, so I chose Route 6 to climb the forest exploration route, Route 1 to return on the natural history route, and finally took the cable car down the mountain. It took 2 hours to hike 6.5km.
Route 6 is along the stream, mostly on a rocky road. There is a plank road near the top of the mountain. The trees are tall and the ecology is relatively primitive. There are few people.
Route 1 is a repaired cement road with temples along the way. There are more people.
On one side of the top of the mountain, you can see Mount Fuji, and on the other side, you can see Tokyo City. The scenery is open.
It is said that this is the mountain with the most climbers. Maybe it was because it was a weekday, so I didn’t see many people.
In general, friends who like hiking and mountaineering are worth a visit when they come to Tokyo.”
WLS008:“I think it's great that during the day there are barbecues and attractions for small children to ride, and at night it becomes a date spot for adults with illuminations.”
莊耕心:“【Scenery】
It is said that the Oshino Hakkai existed 1,200 years ago. It is composed of eight clear fresh springs formed by the melting snow of Mount Fuji and filtering through the strata: Kamaike, Dimuike, Choshiike, Turbidike, Yongike, Mirrorike, Acorus and Departure. The average water temperature is 13℃, and it is known as the Jiuzhaigou of Japan.
【Transportation】
It is also very convenient to go to the Oshino Hakkai from Kawaguchiko. There are several buses every day, and you can take them without making an appointment in advance. The one-way fare is only 560 yen.”
Opening hours: 10:00-22:30 (admission ends at 21:20)
CelloC:“View is nice indeed but the weather is not good today. Unable to see mountain Fuji and even the Tokyo sky tree. Shibuya sky is so considerate that tourists can opt for cancel if the weather is unsatisfactory like today. Highly recommended to those who will visit Tokyo.”
学校🏫:“## Mount Fuji: The totem of the Japanese soul, the priceless shock that must be seen in this life! **Definitely worth it! **It is far more than a mountain, but also a living totem that carries Japan's millennium faith and aesthetics**. Whether looking out over its sacred outline or challenging the summit, it is a great way to feel the Japanese spirit deeply. **Core highlights hit the soul:*** **The fast-changing scene:** The four seasons rotate to give it a very different face - spring cherry for skirt, summer green, autumn red leaves, winter snow crown. Under the clear sky, the momentum is magnificent, and the clouds are looming. **Each eye is a unique scenery postcard**. * ** Classic perspective punch card: ** * ** Kawaguchiko reflection: ** The lake is like a mirror, reflecting the perfect "reverse Fuji", especially when there is no wind in the morning, it is a photography paradise. * **Shincangshan Asakusa Park: **The five-tower is framed with Mount Fuji, interpreting the most classic Japanese aesthetic. * **Goden Field Outlet: **Shopping while enjoying the huge mountain nearby, a wonderful experience. * **Top Challenge (7-9 Moon): **Conquering 3,776 meters on foot, meeting the "Yulai Light" (Sunrise) in the crater, and feeling the ultimate experience of conquest and sacred fusion (need to be fully prepared). * **Cultural Immersion: ** Hawthorn Shrine, Ninno Bahai Lingquan, and Fuji Theme Art Museum ... Infiltrate their awe and worship everywhere. **Tips: *** **Weather determines everything! ** Be sure to check the visibility forecast before traveling, and it may be completely "invisible" on rainy days. * Recommended for a distant view**Kawaguchiko/Mountain Lake area**, convenient transportation and diverse perspectives. * Climbing requires professional equipment, make an appointment in advance for mountain houses, and do your best. **Summary: ** The beauty of Mount Fuji transcends the vision, which is the resonance of nature and culture. Its sacred sense and magnificent beauty, no matter how close you look, it will become a scenery engraved into memory. If the heavens are beautiful, be sure to include it in the itinerary - not only to see a mountain, but also to touch the window of the Japanese soul. 🗻✨”
Anonymous user:“Watch the whole video. Japanese commentary. Bring the kids to experience it and he feels it is very fresh. You must book the tickets in advance. I thought I would buy the tickets on the day, but I accidentally saw that there was a ticket here and wanted to book it in advance. At that time, it showed that there were only 3 tickets for noon on a certain day in my itinerary in the week before and after, and the others were all booked.”

Guest User:“This is a great location for people looking to hike Mt. Takao. You will need to use a taxi to get to and from the train station though. The staff was very kind and supplied us with cans of coffee whenever they saw us lol! One of the owners even gave us a ride to Mt. Takao when we asked for him to call us a taxi. The rooms are motel style and very spacious.
Be aware this is an ex love hotel so it does have a slightly creepy vibe, I wouldn’t bring minors to this hotel to be honest. (I also turned on the TV in the bath which was a bit of a scare!) Also just show any taxis the actual address of this place in Japanese as no one local knew where this place was.”
Guest User:“The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Otsuki station (a bit longer if the train crossing gates are down).
It's a large comfortable room, modern and with a great hot shower. This is a great alternative to the overpriced hotels of Kawaguchiko during the height of cherry blossom time.
Added bonus, at night time this is a small town accustomed to very few foreigners spending the night and you will surely get the feel of small town Japan lifestyle and kindness.
I was at a restaurant with zero menu English and zero spoken English, yet at the end of the meal the owner gave me a very nice gift. That was a beautiful memorable moment of my time in Japan.
Buffet Breakfast is included in the price at the hotel and on some days it was pretty good.
Staff's English was not the best but they were patient and helpful during the check in procedure.
Seeing Mt. Fuji during Cherry Blossom season is a fantastic experience, and if you're on a tight budget but don't want to stay in a hostel, this hotel is your answer”
Hmong:“Twin room was mind blowing as it’s split into two by the toilet so we each have a rather private section of the room to ourselves. Other than that it’s clean and well equipped. Near to station as I remembered”
