The first floor is a great display of the history of the orphanage - illustrated in Italian and English - and access to records and accounts of the orphans' lives through electronic devices. The second floor is a beautiful art gallery, with a three kings worship by Gilandar (one of Florence's masters of painting). On the top floor - where they used to hang laundry - there was a cafe overlooking Florence, the cathedral and the magnificent views beyond the hills, where we spent more than two hours lingering.
This is a local art gallery in Florence. The corridor and the gallery are perfectly combined. There was also a painting exhibition on the day I visited. The works on the exhibition were very beautiful, rich in artistic and cultural life.
The Orphanage Museum, located next to the Plaza de la Virgo in the center of Florence, is Florence's famous art collection exhibition hall, formerly the Orphanage, and the facade of the building is lined with Roman columns.
