Before leaving Chaozhou, we took a taxi to a place recommended by the handsome guy who picked us up at the station to eat authentic Chaozhou cuisine - Fengchun Seafood Stall. The two of us avoided the dishes we had already tried and ordered mixed fish in bowl, fried clams, braised goose meat platter and scallops stewed with bamboo fungus. They tasted good!

The price-performance ratio is excellent. The set meal of 30+ 9⃣️8⃣️ per person can feed 2-3 people! There are two plates of meat, tender meat, breast, beef balls, beef tendon, bean curd skin, bamboo fungus noodles and green tea. The portion is quite large.
What is worth mentioning is the signature beef bone soup base! It is the soul of Chaoshan hotpot~the soup base is slowly boiled from beef bones. After blanching the beef, you must add celery beads to have a sip of soup!

The two of us ordered a small portion of mackerel fish sashimi and a portion of salmon and shrimp sashimi. They were both very fresh. The mackerel was dipped in fried garlic and sesame oil, which was a bit overwhelming. The Hakka sour vinegar was more refreshing and the price was cheaper. Chaozhou is really good quality and cheap.
