GERHARDS GENUSSGESELLSCHAFT

A very high-end restaurant. My girlfriend and I had a very romantic dinner here. Of course, the price is relatively high, but it is still worth it for the service and quality.

It was already noon when we arrived in Koblenz. We had lunch first and then visited. The lunch location was chosen in a corner of a large garden, which was quiet and private. The restaurant is called Gerhards Genussgesellschaft, which is the number one restaurant in Koblenz on many websites. I tried a three-course lunch, paired with Riesling, which was very delicious. So this was actually my first full meal after arriving in Germany, but the taste was really ridiculous. Not to mention the bread before the meal, the soup of the first course was very salty, the second main course was a pork chop with a sour sauce (not delicious...), and the third course of strawberry vanilla ice cream was acceptable, but a little too sweet. While other friends were struggling to cut meat, I quietly slipped out to visit the market next to it. There were all kinds of snacks, recreational facilities, and local people sitting on the ground. This is the German style I like~
