Absolutely excellent roast dinner, we will definitely be back again soon! Everything was brilliant. The lovely new landlady, Rebecca, came around personally to introduce herself and check how our meal was, really nice touch!

Really enjoyed everything about the wholemeal, something not often achieved at places these days!Highly reccomend.

Four of us dining. We had the full set of starters, mains and desserts. Highly recommended the pie of the day, the lamb and the steaks. Also the honeycomb and banoffee desserts. The service was excellent, just the right side of friendly, Kaley (without the 'Y' 😀) you were a superb waitress.

The restaurant was very welcome, and also busy. We asked for a table in a quiet area, and got one in a corner. A bit tight to get in and out if you were by the wall, but fine with us as we did not have to battle with other neighbours noise. Food excellent also drinks. Will definitely go again

Been a while since my previous visit. Costs slightly higher, however that is measured against the size portions and the quality and service. Well worth it.
