L'Accalmie

Good food, great setting, conscientious staff. A member of the waiting staff didn&#39;t turn in, so the three left were run off their feet, literally. It slowed the service, but you could see the pressure they were under and couldn&#39;t fault them.

Had the penne arrabbiata with some calabrese sausage and stracciatella and the salmon with chimichurri and requested the pome le plazza (potatoes roasted wedges)&hellip;everything was delicious and Francois provided great service!  We finished with the warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and chantilly cream and a cafe au lait.  We&rsquo;ll come back before we leave Tours!

Excellent quality food nicely presented by friendly and attentive staff.  Food is better than the price level suggests. Recommended

Great little find just a few minutes walk from where we staying. A very warm welcome and the service was first class. A great selection of wines available by the glass or carafe. The food, freshly prepared, was varied and complemented the focus on wine. We would definitely recommend.

The restaurant is really super, a wide choice, the barbecue is an inconditionable, the super-simpa servers.

Great food with a very nice creative twist combined with excellent and super friendly service.   We stop at Aux Gens Heureux here each time when we visit Tours.  Vaut le d&eacute;tour ! &ldquo;
