137***66Notre Damn is highly praised for being the picturesque cathedral in Europe, but the Cathedral of Tours is even better in my opinion! The history of this building is extremely long! We sneaked into a back door so we could see the inside, it was as beautiful as the outside, which meant we didn't have to pay to enter, because I doubt you might have to do it! This is worth paying for, that's for sure!
Monkeyoawesome! Super exquisite handwork, a very complete variety, from fabric, iron, to exquisite woodwork, and super beautiful pastry art, each one is amazing! highly recommended! I have photographed almost every artwork, for fear that I will never see such exquisite handicrafts again, I must go!
St. Gatien Cathedral in Tours is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Tours, Indre-et-Loire. Built for the first bishop of Tours, St. Gatien, it is home to the Tupel Diocese and the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Tull Parish. It was listed as a historical monument in 1862.
This Gothic building is a landmark of Tours and is very grand, and its size is somewhat disproportionate to today's Tours. Although St. Gatien Cathedral is a very beautiful building, unfortunately it is not one of the main Gothic churches in France. One of the highlights of the
church interior is the world-famously beautifully painted rose window, which dates back to the 13th century. The bag was originally the grass that was planted in this rose window, as beautiful as Notre Dame. Another highlight of the
church is the marble casket of Charles and the two children of Anne of Brittany. This eucalyptus made of Carrara marble has a pure Renaissance style, by the most in the region of Tours. The famous sculptor Michel Colombe has carved it, and the carving is very vivid.
There is a cloister to the north of the church. It is also a monastery of the Renaissance. The monastery is called Cloitre de la Psalette and was built in the 15th century. The church itself is free, and it takes 3.5 euros to enter the Passeare Corridor.
Located in the heart of the Loire Valley castle complex, Tours is a great place to stay as a castle tour. The classical architecture that can be seen everywhere on the street tells its long history. It began to build the city in the first century AD. The Middle Ages was an important military fortress. During the Renaissance, it became the capital of France. Today there are still a large number of medieval and Renaissance neighborhoods. France's first river, the Loire River, and its second largest tributary, the Cher River, flow from the city of Tours. The cities with rivers are mostly scenic and livable cities, and the city of Tours is no exception. The sound of the leaves will make you feel the beauty and leisure of the city. Tours is also a modern city, but there is no sense of dynamism and oppression in other big cities. The city centre of Tours is very lively, and the shops on both sides are a great place to shop. Its a way of life for the Turks to have a drink with friends in the open-air seating on weekends. Its hard to see so many people in other parts of the city. The Cathdrale Saint-Gatien is the tallest Gothic building in the city of Tours, reminiscent of Cologne Cathedral and Notre Dame Cathedral. The towers on both sides are tall and majestic, and the carvings on the facade are gorgeous.
Missing Tour, there are also encounters of "Smurf Sister" and "His Royal Highness". It is called a literary city in the French Garden. The well-preserved wooden skeleton buildings in the Old Town are very traversing, and the taverns on the Prmlo Square are also the favorite pastimes for the local residents.
Cathedrals, art galleries, and even countless famous castles around, are not as comfortable as this moment.
There is no need to say more about the romantic nature of France. Countless churches are perfect for marriage. Not only are there beautiful scenes, but even small scenes are beautiful.
Tur city is not big, this church has attracted me, stepping into it, quiet and beautiful, carved, detailed carving of pillars, and charming flower windows, behind the bright colors, but the light and shadow bring Visual effects.
True love is a lifelong relationship. If you have already met someone you love, why not hold each other and come here for a wedding?
One of the must-see experiences in Tourmi is to watch the "jumping cow" ceremony. This is the adult ceremony of Hamo men. It is not seen every day, and you need to find a local guide belt. We are in Tourmi. Fortunately, I met a day with a ceremony. "Jumping cattle" is one of the ancient traditions of the Hamo people. Even the rock murals of the Minoan civilization in the ancient Greek era have also appeared in the pattern of the cow ritual. Before the marriage, the male must complete this ritual, "jumping cattle" The village is located deep in the forest and needs to be driven by car.
At the cow jumping ceremony, the women hang their bells on their legs and sing and dance. The men with the crowns will draw strange ceremonial makeup and whipping the womans back and abdomen with the overbearing presidents high-cold expression. This kind of whipping is a testimony of love. Women will be jealous for playing more and playing less. Since I bought a shell belt at the market in the morning, I was invited to dance together at the beginning of the ceremony. Of course... I was not beaten...
I still found it very fun at first, but later I found that the time was too long and it was noisy. . . The sound of the bells plus the horns and the singing, plus the dust that is raised, is still very irritating, no wonder its noisy to be beaten by men... This overbearing president is the most energetic of several men, and has always been the contempt of the king. !
