Photos of Dongba Cultural Museum

The building of the museum is laid out according to the development of Naxi dwellings. Using the water source of Yuquan and the natural landscape of the western foot of Xiangshan Mountain, ancient human cave dwellings, nest dwellings, semi-cave dwellings, tent dwellings, dry fence dwellings, wooden houses and three workshops have been opened from north to south. Traditional dwellings at different stages such as Yizhaobi, Four Terraces and Five Patios, among which folk cultural relics reflecting the productivity level of the Naxi people in each period are displayed. Set up scenes of folk customs and religious ceremonies such as "Sacrificing the Heaven", "Sacrificing the Wind" and "Sacrificing the Office", and perform Dongba sacrificial ceremonies for the audience. In addition, you can also see various pictures and texts about Dongba culture here, as well as material materials such as scriptures, paintings, sacrificial instruments, and ancient Naxi production and living utensils.
