This restaurant is a bit expensive. The price of a glass of red wine alone costs more than 70 pounds. Fortunately, I am not an alcoholic. The dishes inside taste good, that is, the waiter sees that the Chinese guests are not very enthusiastic.

This was one of the restaurants we rushed to as the covid lockdown approached and it did not disappoint. This was my best Michelin starred experience in London. There were lots of little extra&#39;s during the courses that I found surprising and delightful. The first was something that looked like a quails egg but, when you popped it in your mouth, exploded with a burst of flavor. Overall, a great meal that left me feeling full, something that does not always happen in a French restaurant. Of course, I did have dessert, which I usually skip. Price was very high and very reasonable compared to other Michelin ranked restaurants that I did not enjoy nearly as much.

What an excellent restaurant- i eat out a lot but this was really special. The vegetarian food ( as oir guests dont eat meat) was brilliant. The team were charming too

Have dined at Medlar many times, but not for at least 3 years and we were not disappointed as the food and service were outstanding. Such a classy restaurant, no gimmicks or loud music, just excellent food and such genuine and attentive staff.

This was our second visit to Medlar. It won&#39;t be our last!Everything was perfect, from the gracious and friendly welcome right to the end. In between, the food was absolutely stunning, the wine reasonably priced and delicious, and the service was knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for a great experience.

Booked valentines lunch menu 3 course, first time visiting this restaurant, would definitely recommend, staff are always helpful and provide a quality service, food was lovely and filling, very nice place to dine.

I have been coming to Medlar for years and years.  It never disappoints and is always a delightful experience.  Their focaccia bread is the best I have had outside Italy just to start with.  The menu is not huge but quite large enough to have a good choice of three courses.  It is all delicious and extremely attractively presented.  The service is impeccable and the wine list extensive.  What is not to like?
