La Vaca y la Huerta is a Steak Lovers Paradise!!! Nice wood long tables, clean white ambiatic decor and a bar you can slide right up to. But the real joy is the Cold Glass Case filled with your choice of steaks. Serious cuts of aged Spanish Beef - take your pick and let me tell you they are grilled to perfection. We did a 1 kilo Ribeye done to a barely rare and it was every bit as amazing as you could hope for. Rubbed with Mediterranean Rock Salt and just a touch of pepper and this was heaven. If you're looking for serious joy in Salamanca - La Vaca y la Huerta will fill you up and keep you coming back for more!!! Gracias amigos - the service is as great as the food. Excellent wine and beer selection as well as plenty of dishes to choose from, but really, do the right thing, get a steak, you'll be happy you did.
