Small but Experienceful
When i am visited this place i think this museum will like another museum, but its different, this museum is so small, but you can learning all about history of this city and gold mining of this place...
We self-toured this small but interesting, free museum when we biked through Monbetsu. Displays included mounts of local mammals and birds, dioramas of Ainu villages, and life-sized replicas of rooms ...
It is a recommended tourist spot in Monbetsu. You can experience the history of Monbetsu. Gold rush, the state of Banya that prospered as a fishing port, the state of the local Ainu It is a very interesting museum. You will notice the difference between the Ainu that appears in the media in the Upopoi boom?
It is a museum where the history and culture of Monbetsu are summarized in an easy-to-understand manner. The exhibition method is very beautiful. I was able to see interestingly the diorama of Konomai Kanayama, the best in the East, the restoration of Banya, and stuffed animals such as bears. The stuffed ones are beautiful and do not smell. I could also see drift ice images at the Okhotsk Theater (when I went there, it was only a screening of 1 of three images). I remembered that I was on the Garinko. Admission was free.
It is a museum where you can see the history of Monbetsu City. Admission was free, but it was very good that it was spectacular. It takes about an hour if you take a closer look. The photo is a reproduction of the garden of the herring fishing banya.
