Photos of Potemkin Stairs

This is a well-known sight in Odessa. One of the classic clips in the 1925 Soviet film "Battleship Potemkin", and left a record of the use of montage in the history of world cinema. The "Odessa Stairs" has thus become one of the most famous stairs in the world. There are 192 steps in the "Odessa Stairs" leading from the semi-circular square in the city center to the seaside. The steps widen from top to bottom. Standing at a high place, you can have a bird's-eye view of the beautiful Odessa Port.
