Photos of Okayama Korakuen

Korakuen was built in 1700. It is a pond and spring garden that took 14 years to build by Tsunamasa Ikeda, the lord of the Okayama domain. Together with Kairakuen in Mito and Kenrokuen in Kanazawa, they are called the three major gardens in Japan. As a traditional Japanese imperial garden, it has the scenery of small bridges and flowing water, and many plants and flowers are planted, which is very beautiful.
