Chiang Mai is Thailand's second largest city in the north. The concentration of Thai universities in the capital makes it difficult for students in other regions to achieve their desire to attend quality universities. The Thai government has long recognized and considered the establishment of a famous university in the north of Thailand's more developed agriculture as a priority, so in 1964, many efforts were made to establish Chiang Mai University. Chiang Mai University is a comprehensive university of the famous courses: chemistry (Thailand first), agriculture and forestry courses, education (teaching including Thai courses, and international English courses). Chiang Mai University officially established in the name of the university in 1964, the number of students in the school is 2,4053, the mainland students are 90, the school provides undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs.

The campus is large and even requires a tour bus. Very typical Thai campus, students are still wearing school uniforms, very much the atmosphere displayed in Thai drama. When I went there, it happened to be a market time on the campus, with huge coconuts, local snacks, and some small animals, very similar to a typical farmer market. There is a small symposium with the school, and it also focuses on the impact of Chinese films on tourism in Thailand. It is a very interesting experience ～

It is huge! There are even electrical buses for the students to get around. At some places it feels more like in a park. Have a drink in one of the cafes and relax

Angkeaw is the famous spot in Chiangmai university for walking/jogging in the morning & evening.Cafe/Breakfast in the morning here is really nice.
