Located on the seaside of Longtan Cave in the center of Jeju City, the dragon is a rock formed by cooling after the lava eruption 2 million years ago, 10 meters high and 30 meters long, and it looks like a dragon living in the dragon palace suddenly turned into a stone when it wanted to fly to the sky. It is because the rock is quite like a dragon at one end, so it is named the dragon. Legend has it that a dragon living in the underwater Dragon Palace wants to ascend to the sky, but this can only be obtained by the jade bead of the Hannah Mountain god. So, it tried its best to finally one day steal the jade bead of the Hannah Mountain god. But just after it got it, it went to the sea, and when it was about to ascend, it was discovered by the gods, and an arrow fell into the sea. The dragon was angry for not fulfilling the wish to ascend, and finally, in the struggle, it became a dragon-shaped boulder, showing only a head on the sea, and looking at the sky. The faucet rock is about 200 meters east of a dragon pool, which is said to be a place where dragons play, so the name of the dragon pool is also called Longyuan. The pool water is crystal clear. It is a symbol of Jeju tourism, the starting point of the coastal road, and the most prominent piece of strange rock on the west coast of Jeju Island. Longtouyan and Longchi are also good places to play at night. The top of the Longtouyan is like a long-snoring faucet, which is a symbol of Jeju's tourism industry. At dusk, staring at the Longtouyan for a long time in the sunset will really create the illusion of a dragon squeaking. Longyuan pool is clear. The pool water around the strange rock and the evergreen forest surrounded by screens, old times called "Longyuan Night Sail", its night scene is intoxicating.
