Observatorio Astrofísico Review

The observatory on the Spanish island of La Palma has the world's largest ground-based telescope called the Canary Large Telescope, which is up to10.2 meters in diameter. The park includes more than 20 telescopes still under construction. Especially the newly built gamma ray telescope is also the world's largest diameter of 23 meters. What's more spectacular is that the back of the observatory's summit is a crater, which has basically a sea of clouds for many years, especially in the afternoon, which is very spectacular. The end of June and mid-July are the best chewing pieces here, the yellow flowers are very beautiful. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see the sky and the sea with white clouds. The vegetation in the middle of the mountain is very green, there are many trees and hiking routes, you can go for a walk yourself, you can also follow the professional hike, there are professional teams in the tourist center or the big hotel to participate. The Muchachus Rock Observatory is open to the public as a national park. Park tickets are free, but you need to rent a car to go there. There is no public transportation. Or join the local bus tour group. Tour groups usually only have groups on Saturdays, and there will be more in peak season. The mountain road is rugged and it takes more than an hour to drive.
