Steam clock has become the symbol of Vancouver Gastown. It is the first steam-driven clock in the world. It has been running for more than 160 years. The two-meter-high steam clock in the town itself is not very impressive, but the tourists who stop around it are enough to make you notice it. The whistle sounds every 15 minutes and the steam gushing from the top of the clock are its unique symbols.
