In late February 1927, Zhou Enlai held a meeting here to personally deploy Shanghai workers for the third armed uprising. Located at the intersection of Tongbei Road, 728 Changyang Road, the China Tobacco Museum shows the historical materials of tobacco workers' struggle with reactionary forces between China and abroad. From 1934 to 1937, the CPC Qiudong District Committee established a reading class for women workers at No. 97, Lane 772, Changyang Road, near the Tobacco Museum. Mr. Tao Xingzhi presented books and came to class many times in person.
