We love going to the farmer's market so we have to walk from our city. Very good, but because we can't keep it refrigerated all the time, we can't bring too much home. If you live in town for a while, this is a great place to buy something delicious!
The best thing about this market is the honey roast almond butter I found, which tastes delicious. It tastes good but is too sweet. They also have nice fruits and seasonal vegetables. If you are driving, here is a good suggestion: free parking on the top floor of the market across Hyde Street on Sundays. If you are going to Orpheus early, this is a good parking spot close to there and not expensive.
Outside the ferry building, there are many small vendors selling agricultural products, but the total number of vendors seems to be not much. I am not paying attention to the price, so I am not sure if it is expensive. If you want to experience the market selling agricultural products, you can come here.
This market is located in UN Plaza, very close to the city hall. This market is very small and did not impress me (maybe I have been to too many markets), but the product looks good quality and the price is very reasonable
This farmer’s market is just outside the ferry building I visited (they are there every Thursday and Saturday). The place is packed with locals and has a lot of fresh produce, from produce to honey to dairy/meat. I would love to buy something but as a traveller I chose not to buy it.
