The chalet was very clean and cosy with air con and ceiling fan, it was 29 when we were there. Breakfast basket had a good selection and there was milk, butter, ham, cheese and fruit juice in the fridge. Plenty of tea and coffee. There is a major road nearby and we found the noise quite intrusive overnight. The bed and pillows wee a bit hard for me but that’s personal choice. The shower was excellent . We found the host rather disinterested and skipped the wine tasting. We were also shocked by a $12.65 surcharge when we presented our debit card for payment. We were told it was because we had used a contactless credit card, (it was debit , and we had not been charged a surcharge anywhere else in the previous two weeks). Shoulders were shrugged and we departed. Rather ruined our stay.

We based ourselves at the Colonial Manor for three nights so we could look around Wanaka, Queenstown, and Arrowtown. It was the best accommodation we booked over our ten-day holiday. Andy, who met us at reception, and Cheryl, are so friendly and welcoming. Our suite was warm and comfortable to come back to after day trips to see the sights and had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfortable. The Colonial Manor Motel is close to all the amenities you need: supermarkets, restaurants, a shopping mall and a swimming pool. We will definitely stay again and for longer. Highly recommend.

The room is very large, that is, there are too many mountains in New Zealand. It is recommended to rent a larger car, otherwise the mountain road is too floating! Others are fine, the hotel can see the snowy mountains, praise! There is a restaurant next to the hotel reception. We arrived late and it was the only restaurant nearby... Just stayed again at the Assure in Cromwell nz and what a fantastic place to stay, you are greeted by Craig & Gaylene and they make you feel right at home. The rooms are immaculately presented and well set out for short stays or longer stays plus the grounds are again immaculate, the location is awesome and easy walking distance to town for all bars and restaurants 😀. Thanks guys and looking forward to staying with you guys again in the near future.

We did a last minute booking here as we had a weekend away without plans around central. This motel was reasonably priced well presented, clean & tidy. The host was friendly and we were very appreciative that he told us about a local event on that night' which we would've missed if he hadn't mentioned. Great hospitality. Comfortable motel with a fantastic shower.
