It was simply amazing. The room gives provides you a view of The Great Wall and it lokks even better under the night sky when it's all lit up. As an added bonus there is balcony where you can just sit and enjoy the view sipping coffe, reading a novel or even enjoying a meal. The hotel is located near Wtown which is also a must go to place. The bed is super comfy too. The area surrounding the hotel is super nice too, very green, rather pretty.

This accommodation accepts foreigners. After booking this place, tried to contact owner via WeChat with contact provided, but owner never added me until I needed to text in Chinese from my phone (using translator). When arrived to the location he sent me on a map, I received directions to find the apartment myself. We never once met the owner of the property. All conversations using Wechat were in Chinese (me using translator). The little studio was clean when we arrived, but later at night was full of loud insects that we had to eliminate in order to sleep. The bed was very hard not comfortableat all. The kitchen was supposed to have everything available to make meals (at least was what I have read in previous reviews) but in reality had nothing, not even a spoon. It was a very simple place, a bit expensive for what you get.

A wonderful hotel, in a very picturesque place, we were placed in a room with a view of the wall, it is unrealistically beautiful both day and night (at night the wall is illuminated, it looks incredible), the room is clean, there are all the amenities, the beds and pillows are also very comfortable, there is a balcony where you can sit and admire the views. I also really liked the territory of the hotel, a lot of greenery, everything is clean and tidy. The hotel is located far from Gubei, on a mountain, but there is a transfer to the bottom and back, which is very convenient. We liked everything very much, thanks to the owner of the hotel! Accurate pictures as shown. Very clean and basic amenities are provided! Clear instructions to check in through WeChat. They do daily room cleaning and top up bottled water as well.. Location is very near to GuBei Water Town Tourist Center where you can get tickets to attractions and Simatai Great Wall!! Only thing to improve on is the cutlery sets availability for those who are going to do small cooking (I only saw a bowl and some plates and 2 rusty spoon 🤣) & can consider providing coffee/tea in the room, the ambience and view would be even better with a hot drink in hand~

I decided to go to Gubei Water Town after work on Friday, so I quickly chose a hotel. After thinking for a long time, I finally chose Yunzhu Parent-Child Theme Villa. After booking, I called the store. The store quickly added WeChat contact, sent the location, and informed me in detail. I arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening, and the owner drove to pick me up very quickly! Let's talk about the room. The room is what it looks like in the picture. The children's toys inside are very suitable for children. It won't be boring to stay in the room. The room is very clean! After leaving the community, turn left and you will reach Gubei Water Town, which is very close. The service is super good. If you encounter a problem, you can help solve it immediately! The temporary choice is really right. If you come with children, it is really recommended!

The aunt is very kind. The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to Simatai ticket station, and another 5 minutes walk to Gubei Water Town ticket station. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. But the house is not very clean. There are some hairs in the toilet and a little on the towel. The toothbrush is also on. The water for the shower is not very hot and there is little water. It is OK for one or two nights.

A beautiful and cozy house, a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the Mutianyu Great Wall. By evening we were exhausted and were very glad to return to the hotel and get some sleep. Our room was beautiful, spacious and modern. The hot water was of sufficient temperature and with good pressure. The bathroom had a warm air conditioner, a lighted mirror, a convenient hairdryer, and an automatic flush toilet. There is a grocery store near the house that sells a lot of delicious iced tea.

I booked the Jingxin B&B, but I actually stayed at the Cuihua B&B. I said it belonged to his uncle’s family (it might have been resold, it’s all from the same village). I ordered it online, and I could use it. smell. For breakfast, I ate farm-style millet porridge, fried zucchini and steamed buns with pickled vegetables, 15 yuan per person (not recommended for those who have not eaten farm food). I live on the first floor, near the restaurant. There are a bunch of people making skewers at night, which is a bit noisy. The store is very enthusiastic, experience a car pick-up and drop-off (electric three-wheeled). The words are in place, and the service is nothing to say. It is recommended for people who let their minds go to experience it.
