Hikiyama and war
Original Text
This museum is a museum where the Hikiyama event held in the Tsuchizaki district and the exhibition about the Tsuchizaki air raid at the end of WW 2. An exhibition about the powerful Hikiyama and the scars of war. I can feel that two seemingly unrelated elements are related to the former prosperity of Minato Tsuchizaki.
Yamagashi, a symbol of Tsuchizaki's hot festival. The appearance of a wooden car making a creaking noise and pulling together is a masterpiece. I would like you to see it live if possible, but you can see Yamagashi here, so please do.
I like local museums and often go to various places, but these days it was the most wonderful place. Not only history and festival exhibitions, but also learned that it was the place where the last air raid of World War II was received. The person in charge 々 is also very kind when you are distributing manhole cards. The narration of the festival video was Mr. Dan Mitsu.
A place where you can see information about Minato Bayashi, which has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the history of the local Tsuchizaki district at a festival in the district. It's new and close to Serion, so it's recommended.
There are still permanent floats of Tsuchizaki Port Hikiyama Festival and exhibits that convey the Tsuchizaki air raid in the new building. When I visited, there was also an exhibit of the history of Kitamaefune as a special exhibition. The hall is not so big, but it seems that there is a training room and so on, so I think it also plays a role as a community center in the area. I think it's better to go if you are interested in it as much as possible because it's easy to enter the daytime work.
