Life advice: you must visit Altay in Xinjiang, which is also your Altay
🌞 The summer in Altay is simply breathtakingly beautiful! 😍 As a bona fide Altay local, let me reveal to you the must-visit places here during May and June! 🌟
1️⃣🌲 Kanas —— The 'Oasis Pearl' of China
It's not an exaggeration! 💯 This place has been named by 'National Geographic' as one of the 50 must-visit places. The lake's color changes unpredictably, and the high mountains, forests, grasslands, and wildflowers under the blue sky are a visual feast! 🌈 Especially the Shuanghu Thirteen Bays (Fairy Bay, Moon Bay, Crouching Dragon Bay), which are breathtakingly beautiful. 😌 There's also the Fish Viewing Pavilion, where you might catch a glimpse of the 'mysterious lake monster'! 🐟
2️⃣💐 Hemu —— Simply God's own reserve!
💖 This fairy-tale-like village really makes you not want to leave. Log cabins, birch trees, wildflowers, dandelions... At the turn of spring and summer, this place is full of life, with cattle and sheep roaming leisurely, dogs frolicking, and smoke curling up from the log cabins, painting a moving picture! 🖼️ Stay for a couple of days, and you'll definitely fall in love with it! 🏡
3️⃣🕌 Burqin —— This fairy-tale border town
is the essential route to Kanas. The Russian-style architecture and the cinematic feeling at sunset are truly intoxicating. 🌆 You must walk on the Burqin Bridge to feel that unique atmosphere. 🌉 In summer, there are also fountains and dance performances, which are incredibly lively! 🎉 Of course, the local cuisine is also exceptional! Specialty grilled dogfish, roasted nang, grilled lamb skewers... will definitely give you a new appreciation of Xinjiang cuisine! 🍖🍢
4️⃣☄️ Colorful Beach —— This is God's overturned palette! 🎨 The Yardang landform makes this place a representative of colorful Xinjiang. But remember, you must come at the right time, otherwise, you might feel 'the pictures are deceiving'. 😅 The half-hour before sunset is the most beautiful moment for the Colorful Beach. Under the setting sun, the rocks in red, orange, yellow, purple, white... are distinctly colored, and stunningly beautiful! 🌅
Xinjiang's time is a bit different from other places, and the sunset time in summer is even later, so remember to check the local sunset time in advance! 🕖
If it's your first time in Xinjiang, then Altay is definitely your top choice! 🌄✨
Very good, the scenery here is quite good, one side is the Erqis River, the other side is the Yadan landform, there is a cultural museum at the door, there are many attractions, very good movies, I feel comfortable after watching, the tickets are not expensive, all aspects are good
Colorful Beach Scenic Area is located in Burqin, Xinjiang, not far from Hemu and Kanas scenic spots. Generally, everyone comes to play along the way. It is not worth running once. Its Yadan landform is still quite good, but it is better than Zhangye, Gansu, and the scenic spot is not big to see the scenery, there are no other projects.
How to say it, it feels not worth going specifically. In fact, the most beautiful scenery in Xinjiang is still on the road, because we rent a car, and took a photo on the way. It feels better than the scenic spots. There are more bugs in the scenic area. Remember to bring mosquito repellent water
Try to see the sun when the sun is about to set. We drove from Urumqi to Awu Expressway and set off at noon to Wucai Beach at about 8 o'clock. I feel that the scenery at this time is starting to get more and more beautiful as the sun sets, and the color is getting more and more beautiful. The scenery is still good, the scenic spot is not big, mainly looking at the landform
I read the online reviews before, and I went with the mentality of coming. Haha, I saw the weather on the day I arrived in Burqin. I went straight to the colorful beach before sunset. The main observation deck of the scenic spot was very close to the door. We saw a lot of people and walked in. The sunset was beautiful. Sure enough, it’s all the weather. Except that the wind almost blew me away, the scenery is good, I think it’s still good.
