Avoid the provincial campground
The provincial campground near the start of the canoe circuit is dark and damp. Spend a bit more for a site at Bowron Lake Lodge a mile away. They are right on the lake shore with spectacular views.
This was our first time on the circuit, and we are novice but common-sense canoeists with a sense of adventure. I would highly recommend this wilderness experience! We generally had great weather....
