Going out from the south Chiang Mai Gate, you will see the entrance of the Saturday Night Market after crossing the road. There are a lot of people at about 7:00 in the evening. There are many food stalls and you can try local snacks. Most of them have no seats, they can only eat while walking. Few have a planned seating area, which is more convenient to eat. Hawkers usually set up stalls at Chiang Mai Gate Night Market at 5pm. You can choose your favorite food at each stall, including small fried stalls, noodle stalls and fruit stalls. But pay attention to hygiene, so as not to have diarrhea after eating.

The Pullen Ruedee Night Market is my favorite place in Chiang Mai. Very nice atmosphere, delicious food, many clear choices for vegetarians. The place is beautifully decorated with charming little coloured lights, always has live music performances and one night I had live martial arts performances there too! Great place to eat and relax in the evening. I witnessed Ploen Ruedee grow from a few food stalls into an amazing night market with great entertainment and food for everyone's taste. I love staying here for one night, enjoying different foods, sipping delicious cocktails and listening to great live music. Full marks.
Foraging on Changkang Road, passing by PLOEN RUEDEE( Caoyu? )night market, looking at the lights is very beautiful, go in and stroll around. Compared with the general night market in Chiang Mai, Caoyu Night Market is more like a food court. Neat stalls, colorful decorative lights, clean environment + slightly higher prices than the general night market, tired of crowded people, you can relax here.
Street food center Night Bazaar has a wide variety of food options to choose from.
