In the year because of the indiscriminate bombing of Chongqing by Japanese aircraft, the German embassy considered relocating, after negotiations, rented the villa of German doctor Paul under the Wenfeng Tower in Nanshan, and converted it into an embassy. This is a north-south Chinese and Western combined building, simple shape, rich characteristics, the second floor, the first floor, masonry structure, construction area more than 300 square meters, 13 meters high. The current German embassy site is still, surrounded by lush green forests, towering over the sun, birds and cicadas, and the silent wind is skimmed from the ear.
