Lushun House Site of Prince Su

When we got to Lushun Solar Valley, we were very close to this small building. The address is No. 9 Xinhua Street, the former residence of Fangzi, Kawabata Island. Now it is being renovated. One red one is what it used to be and the other is what it is now. Not exactly, not knowing it's finished.

In February 1912, after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, which ruled China for nearly three hundred years, the Prince of Purge fled from Beijing to Lushun. The Japanese military has turned the building into a Su Prince's Palace.

1️⃣ White Wall and Blue Window at the intersection of Mintai Street and Wenming Street, the second-story European-style building, the building age is unknown, the renovation is new, and the current site is not open to the outside world. 📍 The Hefeng European-style building on the second floor of the former residence of Ogu Guangrui at the intersection of Mintai Street and Wenming Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian City. Ogu Guangrui is a monk and explorer. He visited Central Asia three times in the year 1902-1912. He stayed in this building in 1914 and was the director of the Lushun Museum. The stone steps are a row of houses, and the building age is unknown. 📍 The former site of the Russian high-level residence on May 4th Street, No. 11 Wenming Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian City was built in 1900-1904, and the red Russian-style two-story building is not open to the public. 📍 5️⃣ The Russian-style two-story building with masonry structure at the former site of Prince Su's Mansion, Lushunkou District, Dalian City. It was originally a Russian villa and was the Prince Su Mansion in 1912. After the exterior renovation of the building, the original appearance has changed, and it is now the Prince Su Mansion Museum (closed). 📍 No. 9 Xinhua Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian City, 6️⃣ The former residence of the president of Lushun Engineering University was built during the Russian occupation period. It has a European-style building with basements and lofts. The current site is not open to the public. 📍 The Russian-style building on the second floor at the intersection of May Fourth Street and Taiguang Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian, was used as a community hospital. There is a sea cucumber sculpture in front of the door. Originally a Russian villa, Prince Su fled from Beijing to Lushun in 1912 after the collapse of the Qing Dynasty. He lived in this Russian-style two-storey building and is now a garrison for troops.
