John and Mary Papa John Sculpture Park celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2019, featuring the works of 25 of the world’s most famous artists. The acre park is located at the main intersection of the city road network, providing pedestrians with a convenient entrance to the center of Des Moines. This convenient environment, coupled with skilled landscape design and artistic standards, makes it different from any other sculpture park in the United States. The 31 works contributed by Pappajohns are the most important artwork ever donated to the Des Moines Art Center. Diana Agrest and Mario Gandelsonas, two architects from New York designed the sculpture park with a landscape of different mounds of grass, which is very interesting. [Representative works] Kusama Yaisheng's "Big Pumpkin" (2018). Barry Flanagan's "Thinker on a Rock" (1997) and so on. Practical tips: Parking on the roadside (paying street party), parking spaces are sufficient, next to Krause Gateway Center is a new work by Lenzo Piano, it is worth punching in. Per capita consumption: The sculpture park is open to the public for free. <ctag id="148853" type="4" businesstype="1"># 2021</ctag> <ctag id="59352" type="4" businesstype="2"># niche discovery society </ctag> <ctag id="110588" type="4" businesstype="1"># city humanities handwriting</ctag>
