Old Treasury Building

It is a lovely building and worth spending an hour or so to enjoy the exhibition. The museum displays Melbourne history with some superb early development photos. The servants' quarters in the museum are also worth seeing. The museum sometimes hosts other exhibitions. During our visit, there was an exhibition detailing some of the experiments carried out on Melbourne women.

The original Treasury Department is now a tourist attraction. Located in the east of the city centre of Melbourne, just next to the old town hall. Built in the 19th century, it is said to be one of the finest 19th century buildings in Australia. The appearance is not grand, but in addition to the underground gold museum, you can see some nostalgic objects and furnishings. The tour is free. You can take the free 35 tram.

An antique building, to the east of Melbourne's downtown area, is adjacent to a park. Passing here several times during the day, I was not impressed. One evening I walked by and found the building more striking under the light. Fig. 3 is the government building next to the old building. I don't know what kind of organization it is.

The old financial building at the head of Collins Street, Melbourne Wall Street, is considered one of Australia's best 19th century buildings, built in 1858-1862. The old Treasury Building is located south of the old Capitol Building.

After its restoration in 1994, the Old Finance Building opened to the public as a museum, providing an ideal guide for tourists who want to know and explore the history, architecture and contemporary life of Melbourne. The old Finance Building has three permanent exhibitions: the Built on Gold Exhibition, the Victorian Archival Treasures Exhibition, which reproduces the history of the Victorian Gold Rush, and the Growing Up in the Old Treasury Exhibition, which shows Victorian Archival Treasures'rich historical materials and traces the history of the old Finance Building.
