The hall has been a fascinating history through centuries of evolution. The Elton Hall is fascinating, the building is a bit romantic and magical, with its Gothic south facade at right angles to classical architecture, French style, entrance wings. Generations of people have decorated the house and collection with many good examples of old masters and British portraits. The art collection is good, there is also an excellent garden center, a great lunch in the garden center, a lot of choices on the menu, and the price is good. Good quality ingredients. I had a sandwich with salad and crisps and my husband had a lasagna. The garden center itself is small but all the inventory and gift shop has a huge collection card where the usual gifts are found in the garden center. The garden is great and the gardening is done particularly well so that everyone can take better pictures. Had a nice few hours here and was very popular with children.Tist1.
