It is a building that was once used as the Imperial Army 8th Division Officer Club. It was renovated in 1908. It makes you feel the good atmosphere of the first half of the 20th century. Access is about a 20-minute walk from JR Hirosaki Station. You cannot also see the building from outside the gate. The building is an exchange facility for division officers completed in 1897. It is a gorgeous Western-style building and is one of the representative buildings in Hirosaki. After the war, it was owned by Hirosaki Kosei Gakuin and was used as a memorial hall for the Gakuin. This is a building that you definitely want to visit after completion of preservation and repair.
