It would have been interesting to explore this building and visit the rooftop (and restaurant!) but, like Rapunzel's tower, there was no apparent access from the ground. Disappointing.
We visited as part of the heritage open day in Ipswich and found it a really interesting and enjoyable experience. The roof top garden and restaurant was a highlight. We would visit again.
Come to Ipswich during the 2nd weekend in September and pick up a "open heritage" booklet and visit this grade 2 listed building designed by Norman Foster in the 1970s. the outside is hung smoked glas...

Fantastic architecture and rooftop garden
We visited as part of the heritage open day in Ipswich and found it a really interesting and enjoyable experience. The roof top garden and restaurant was a highlight. We would visit again.
Good building
This is an impressive building that Ipswich is proud to have. It stands out and is located in the middle of town.
Still interesting
I remember seeing this building many, many years ago, it was very impressive then and still has a certain level of interest today
