Memorial garden of the May 3rd Massacre

The May 3rd Memorial Park is located in the southern section of the western moat. It was built in 1986 to commemorate the May 3rd tragedy in Jinan. In 1928, the National Revolutionary Army entered Jinan, and the Japanese imperialists intervened under the pretext of protecting Japanese overseas Chinese.
