Take the time to pay homage!
It was ver humbling! To think of these individuals from another country stuck working the salt mines and staying in these small huts away from their families and the culture they know. Humbling!
Really worth seeing the slave huts - hard to imagine how 6 to 8 adults managed to live in one hut and really gives a vivid sense of the brutality of slavery.

Colourful
Yellow huts and blue sea, made for some interesting photos. Although the history is worth thinking about, not in the least when on holiday.
Ugly history in a beautiful place
