not much to say this is an olf fort looking over the bay. it is good nick. It sometimes serves as an art gallery and the occasional concert.
worth a visit if in the area
The fort is right on the water in a picturesque spot near Tamaris. the temporary exhibits are always interesting. An important structure in the history of Toulon and the "Bagne" prison

A pleasant small museum in the fort Balaguier, built by the incontournable Vauban to keep the Toulon invaders' rack.
Yes the site, not the staff!
Closure at 18h... You arrive at 17:15 (on just wanted to see the exhibition). The ticket vendor is in the middle of the door to remove the stones from his shoes (all is true!). You wait ... Finally, ...
It's worth it.
The most interesting visit, exceptional view of the Toulon rail, view of the Seyne, St Mandrier, the Sablettes. Visit the garden. And the top of the tops, we are dived into the seabed as s'y...
