Villa Isola is a historic building with very unique Dutch architecture, located on the UPI campus, the atmosphere around it is very beautiful, clean, cool, lots of trees and is a cool photo spot. There are parks and lakes filled with fresh water fish, it's great to see fish popping up to the surface covering the fish food spread out by visitors. We can all see the atmosphere of the UPI campus, which has a wavy morphology, the atmosphere is shady, clean, cool, and can be used for walking or running.
Villa Isola (sekarang Bumi Siliwangi) adalah sebuah bangunan art-deco . Menghadap ke lembah dengan pemandangan kota, Villa Isola selesai dibangun pada tahun 1933 oleh arsitek Belanda Wolff Schoemaker untuk taipan media Belanda Dominique Willem Berretty, pendiri agen pers Aneta di Hindia Belanda. Tujuan awal bangunan itu adalah untuk rumah pribadi Berretty, tetapi kemudian diubah menjadi hotel setelah kematiannya dan sekarang berfungsi sebagai kantor rektorat Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Villa Isola berlokasi pada tanah tinggi, di sisi kiri jalan menuju Lembang (Jln. Setiabudhi), gedung ini dipakai oleh IKIP (Institut Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan) Bandung, yang sekarang menjadi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia-UPI). Ia juga salah satu bangunan bergaya arsitektur Art Deco yang banyak dijumpai di Bandung.
