＂ Songshan Battle Site ＂ is located in Longling County, Yunnan. Songshan's strategic position is very important. It is close to the traffic throat of the west of the Nu River into the east bank of the Nu River. Close to the Nujiang Huitong Bridge, the Myanmar Highway is about to rush, like a natural bridgehead. Mastering the initiative of the Nujiang battlefield, you can attack, retreat, and Tengchong, Longling form a corner trend, echo each other, Songshan is not queer, Myanmar road is not accessible, counter-attack Tengchong, Longling will also get and lose. It can be said that the capture of Songshan is the battle of Guanjian in the Battle of the West of the West, known as ＂ Gibraltar in the East ＂. From June 4 to September 7, 1944, the Chinese Expeditionary Army lasted 95 days, fought Songshan, annihilated 1,250 enemy personnel, and won the battle at the great cost of nearly 7,800 casualties, breaking the Xinjiang Bureau of the Battle of the West of the Luxi and opening the curtain of China's great counter-attack.

From June 4 to September 7, 1944, the heroes of the Chinese expeditionary army paid the price of tens of thousands of casualties, and finally annihilated the Japanese army. The site of the battle of Songshan is large, including several nearby hills, while the core area is Songshan at an altitude of 2,000 meters. On the platform behind the right side of the tourist service center, the artist carved the Chinese expeditionary army group carving, the representative group formed a sculpture square, the young soldiers, the war horses, the Allies, and the veterans who were still alive when the sculpture was made. The route of the old site of the Matsuyama Battle was a circle around the sub-highlands, a circle of two points and a few kilometers, but the expeditionary warriors spent three months and thousands of martyrs' lives to win the strategic site. On the observation deck facing the Nu River, you can overlook the Nu River Grand Canyon, which is more than 1,000 meters high, and the peaks on the east bank of the Nu River. Along the plank road, you can see the trenches and traffic left by the warring sides, as in the year. The sub-highlands were the highest point at which the expeditions did not seize it until the end, but destroyed them by laying high explosives beneath the Japanese fortifications, and two huge deep pits can still be seen today. The mountain bag on the right side of the path back to the entrance is the melee mountain. After the expeditionary army captured the main peak of Songshan, the Japanese army was still reluctant to fail, and organized a death team to fight back. The scene is appalling, so it is named Meat Fight Mountain. There is a tourist service center at the gate of Songshan Battlefield. The surrounding villagers contracted shops to do business. The content of each shop is homogeneous. You can eat simple bait silk and rice noodles and buy mountain goods. Longling to Songshan battlefield road quality is good, but there are many curves. The road from Songshan to Huitong Bridge is a section of the Myanmar Highway. At present, the stone road of the Myanmar Highway has been restored. The scenery is very beautiful. From the top of Songshan to the Huitong Bridge by the Nu River, the altitude drops by 1200 meters, and it takes an hour and a half to one way.

Longling County, Baoshan, Yunnan, has a place called Songshan. Songshan is the first peak of Longling County. The terrain is dangerous and easy to defend. It is known as the "Gibraltar" in the East. The Battle of Songshan, an important part of the Battle of northern Simeon and one of the largest in southern China, is called the Battle of Songshan as the "Jade Broken War" on the Asian battlefield of World War II, that is, the whole army was destroyed. In May 1942, after the Japanese invaded China and entered the Nu River, Songshan was used as a war preparation center, offensive stronghold and defensive support point. In 1943, the Japanese army recruited more than 1,600 people to build fortifications in Songshan, day and night construction. In February 1944, after the fortification was completed, in order to keep it secret, the Japanese army executed all the people in the name of fighting an epidemic prevention needle and burned their bodies to burial. After the war, a "thousand-person pit" was found at Dagukou. In June 1945, the Battle of Songshan began. In the course of 95 days in three months, ten battles were launched, which ended with our victory and opened the curtain of China's anti-Japanese offensive. The descendants called this mountain, called the "melee mountain". More than 680 expeditionary troops lost their lives here, and the real "every inch of land is soaked in blood".
