We stopped in last week for a self-guided tour and to shop for local cheeses. Samples allowed us to taste the cheeses before we bought any, and we ended up buying plenty.
If you consider this was started not too long ago by a Swiss, you don't really see that being represented anymore. Pricing in their store, even for cheeses they produce is still premium. The tour is...
We didn't get to take the tour, but the viewing area was open so we could see where the cheese was made, very interesting. We also sampled and bought several kinds of cheese.

What a better place to get cheese than Wisconsin
We live in Illinois and drive up to Monroe Wisconsin at least twice a year. We hit several spot while we are up there, but this one is a must.
