There used to be a small zoo, but now it's only a "rabbit garden"!
Original Text
There used to be a small zoo just down Azumayama Park, but it disappeared someday, and now there are only fences left. Right above the old small zoo is the moss phlox garden, and you can see the moss phlox in spring. Instead of this small zoo, there is now only a "rabbit garden". This "rabbit garden" is right next to the administration building under the top of Mt. Azuma. But rabbits are cute animals and adult animals, so ...
When I saw it, there was no rabbit! ?? I thought, but when I looked closely, it was on the soil. I couldn't get in touch directly on the day I visited, but the children brought thinly cut carrots and gave them to the rabbits from outside the fence. (I didn't meet the staff, so I don't know if it's good to give the carrots I brought.)
Located in Azuma Park. It's a small zoo, or now a rabbit garden. During the cherry blossom season in April, this area is a famous cherry blossom viewing area, so it is crowded with many people. To get to the park, park your car in the parliamentary parking lot and walk lightly to climb? It feels like you're doing it, so let's go in a comfortable way.
There used to be a small zoo and many rabbits, but it became a Shibazakura Garden a few years ago. There is no small zoo now. The flowering time of Shibazakura is April. In December, when I visited, the shibazakura was not yet, but the rape blossoms near the top of Mt. Azuma were in bloom.

Small さな Zoo
It is a park where small animals are bred. I think it's for children. It's fun to have a facility where you can interact with animals locally.
It's in Azuma Park.
