This castle was invested during the Hundred Years War and underwent architectural changes during the Renaissance period. The entrance tower has been raised and the main building has been renovated. Since 1950, it has been listed as a historical monument.

It was a good climb up the hill to the chateau, but we were well rewarded on our arrival with views over the town and countryside.
