Hachirogata
It is said that from the observatory you can see Hachirogata but I did not have time to go there. Instead I saw a part of Hachirogata, a polder which used to be the second largest lake(Brackish water ...

Mt. Kanfu in the middle of the base of the Oga Peninsula. At the top of the mountain was a 4 cylindrical building, "Sky Park Kanfuyama Rotating Observatory". Great view. I'll get it. The 360 degree view was great. By the way, it seems that there are paid areas and free areas at "Sky Park Kanfuzan Rotating Observatory", and there are booths such as souvenir shops, restaurants, rotating observatory, and Kanfuzan materials exhibition. I didn't go to the paid area but still had a great view.

Neglected, rusty
The view all over Oga and the connection to the mainland near Akita is fascinating. The shop, restrooms, and building are however very delapidate.
. Well worth a visit.
