Historical Temple
I was attracted by the Cherry Blossom next to this temple. Also got ginkgo trees , especially the husband and wife gingko tress’s are standing side by side.
It is a temple of the Soto sect founded in 1857 in the Edo period. The main hall here is the oldest main hall in Otaru. 1876 It is a one-story wooden building built in the year. The old style at the time of its founding is almost extant and is designated as a historic building.
It is located along National Highway 5 and is located in front of the city of Otaru when heading from Sapporo.
